(Dan Tri) – The appearance of Venue has filled Hyundai’s crossover vehicle range in Vietnam, bringing new options in the small urban high-clearance car segment.
Venue is distributed in 2 versions: 1.0 T-GDi (539 million VND) and 1.0 T-GDi Special (579 million VND).
Venue shares the K2 chassis platform with Sonet, but Hyundai’s car is smaller than its `compatriot` product in size.
Venue’s appearance has many similarities with its `elders` of the same brand.
Venue is the only car in the segment equipped with lenticular LED headlights (1.0 T-GDi Special version) instead of multi-reflectors, promising more effective lighting.
At the same time, the two sides of the Venue’s body create the feeling of a `mini Creta` with a square shape combined with embossed lines extending from the front lights to the rear, black-painted A and B columns and C-pillars.
The wheels on all Hyundai Venue cars in Vietnam are 16 inches, shaped with 5 double spokes and diamond milled.
Behind is an LED taillight strip with cascading pixel graphics extending from left to right, forming the Korean brand’s iconic `H` shape.
The interior of the Hyundai Venue is harmonious and common with the main black tone, without many cut-out or sporty details like the Raize and Sonet.
The area in front of the driver includes a 3-spoke steering wheel like the one on the Grand i10 and many previous Hyundai models, arranged with many function buttons.
1-zone automatic air conditioning control cluster on the Special version with 3 knobs and a number of buttons, of which the middle knob has an integrated screen displaying temperature and wind level.
Similar to the Toyota Raize, most of the seating area on the Venue is covered with felt, combined with surrounding leather patches and dotted with contrasting white stitching.
The second row of seats on the Hyundai Venue is not as wide as its competitors.
Venue’s list of safety equipment is relatively basic in its price range, including: 2 or 6 airbags (depending on version), ABS/EBD/BA brake support, electronic balance, hill start assist
The highlight not to be missed on the Hyundai Venue is the 3-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine, 1.0L capacity, producing a maximum capacity of 118 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 172Nm at
The car uses a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) instead of continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT/iVT) like its two competitors, combined with a front-wheel drive system.
The presence of Venue has completed Hyundai’s CUV product range in Vietnam, stretching from segments A to E (Venue – Creta – Tucson – Santa Fe – Palisade).
